You might know Chris Mann from NBC's The Voice, but that's only one chapter of the story. After years of lost record deals and heartache in the music industry, Mann finally got his break on The Voice following Super Bowl XLVI with a record-breaking 37.6 million viewers. He quickly became a fan-favorite with some of the most memorable performances in the show’s history. Billboard later praised his finale performances of “The Prayer” (with coach, Christina Aguilera) and “You Raise Me Up” on their list of the Best Voice Performances of All Time, solidifying Mann’s place as one of the most acclaimed new artists in the world. Following his success on The Voice, Mann boldy reimagined the classical-pop genre on his debut album, Roads (Universal/Republic Records). The aptly-titled album represented the culmination of a long and challenging journey for this gifted and dedicated young artist, who’d been pushing forward against what had appeared to be overwhelming odds. Now, he's triumphed. The record hit #1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Chart and appeared among his idols on the Billboard Top 200 and iTunes charts. His sophomore album, Constellation, followed suit topping the Billboard and iTunes charts, once again. During his meteoric rise, Chris realized another dream filming his very first full-length concert and holiday TV specials for PBS, “Chris Mann In Concert: A Mann For All Seasons” and “Home For Christmas.” Following the success of his PBS specials, Mann toured his live performances to concert and symphony halls across the country, landing him solidly on the national stage. Chris has since performed with the National Symphony for President and Mrs. Barack Obama, headlined at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and at New York City's famed Christmas in Rockefeller Center Concert. He has also appeared on Ellen, The Today Show, Conan, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Late Show with James Corden and Christmas in Washington. But of all of these dream performance opportunities, Mann cherishes one above the rest. Chris was invited to sing to honor his country at the National Memorial Day Concert on PBS. During that unforgettable concert, Chris performed on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol for an audience of over 300,000 and millions of TV viewers to honor American service men and women and their families--an experience he will never soon forget.
