Don’t miss The High School Reunion Party Featuring THE MOONRAKERS with special guest THE CRUISIN CATS on August 23, 2015 at the Soiled Dove in the Lowry Town Center. All seats reserved - tickets $30.

From 1964 through 1967, The Moonrakers were one the most popular bands in Denver achieving Four Top 10 Singles beginning in September, 1965, when their single "You'll Come Back" reached No.1 on the KIMN Radio Hit Parade chart, knocking out the Kingsmen's "Louie Louie." It was followed by the rocker "I'm All Right" and a version of "Baby Please Don't Go”.

The Moonrakers were essentially “Denver’s Beatles” – with a huge local following. Now, after 50 years apart, they have re-formed for a one-time, long-awaited High School Reunion Party.

Original members Bob Webber, Joel Brandes, Veeder Van Dorn, and Denny Flannigan are looking forward to seeing their old friends and fans who will join them for this very special event. The original drummer Bob MacVittie will not be able to attend due to health reasons, but long-time colleague Dick Whetstone of the Electric Prunes will represent him well on the Drums.

Take a walk down memory lane. Don’t forget your bell-bottoms and head bands!

This will be a night to remember!
