The Show
The co-host with Ron Zappolo of “Sports A to Z” on 9News, Sam Adams is a club and corporate event headliner who has performed on stages in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Boston and New York, as well as fabled Colorado venues Red Rocks Amphitheater and the Paramount Theater. Sam was the winner of the 2009 Great American Comedy Festival, and the Denver Business Journal once lauded him for “bringing down the house with a string of well-delivered lines that were notable for their lack of profanity, scatological or sexual references.”

Stephanie McHugh’s wit and charm have made her a regular in the Denver comedy scene. She kept radio listeners laughing with her daily mishaps on the Steve and Stephanie Morning Show on KOOL 105. She has appeared on Nick at Nite's TV show, "NickMom Night Out” and “America's Funniest Mom,” which won her praise from celebrity judge Rosanne Barr.

A Denver native and longtime Comedy Works favorite, your host and feature act George McClure has appeared on Comedy Central and A&E and opened for such luminaries as Ellen DeGeneres and Lewis Black. He is also, along with KUSA's Kyle Dyer, the regular emcee for the MAF's artma art auction.

Please join us for this awesome show to benefit a great cause!

More about The Morgan Adams Foundation
The Morgan Adams Memorial Neuro-Oncology research fund at The Children’s Hospital in Denver was started in November of 1998, after Morgan, age 6, lost her battle with a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor. Morgan’s parents, Joan Slaughter and Steven Adams, started the artma art auction and The Morgan Adams Concours d’Elegance to raise money for research efforts being conducted in neuro-oncology and other areas of childhood cancer. These events have received an incredible show of support from the community and together have contributed over $2.2 million to the fund. The Foundation’s Comedy Night event follows in this tradition. The OBJECTIVES of The Morgan Adams Foundation are to:
1. Provide funding for both basic science and clinical research in neuro-oncology at Children’s Hospital.
2. Support pilot projects which translate into potential therapies for people with cancer.
3. Support collaborative research initiatives conducted in partnership with The Children’s Hospital, with the hope of expanding treatment options for children battling cancer in the Rocky Mountain region, across the country and around the world.
